Spiritual leader Siddheshwar Swamiji refuses to accept Padma Shri award, writes to PM

Spiritual leader Siddheshwar Swami has written to PM Narendra Modi refusing to simply accept the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, bestowed upon him on Thursday. In his letter, Swami wrote that he was a 'sanyasi' and had very little interest in awards. Also, regard as the 'Walking God of North Karnataka', Swami was awarded the Padma Shri for his spirituality.readmore@India
